Wow! We’ve got to day 30. I hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know me a bit through the musical challenge.
So now, it’s my favourite song at this time last year. Are they kidding? I’m a Mum, I can barely remember my favourite song this time last week! Just kidding, though I really can’t remember what my favourite song was this time last year.
One song I know I loved last year is Toby Mac Lose My Soul.
I was trying to choose – should I do a kids song, or something a bit older. The first tape (yes, tape) I bought was Madonna, Like a Prayer, when I was in grade 6, so I’ve chosen the title song for this day. Excuse the line down the middle of the video, the official song had embedding disabled.
This is a very hard one – I don’t think there is a song that makes me feel guilty… at least not that I can think of.
As someone who has been through divorce, this is a hard song to listen to, maybe it will meet the criteria. It’s Don’t Give Up by Sanctus Real.
I’m so out of practice, most songs could fit in here… When I was learning piano, I wished I could play Fur Elise properly, not just the bit at the start with a single hand! I had the music, but quit lessons in favour of VCE and never learned the music properly.
I don’t know if I can play it any more, but I used to be able to play Everything I do, I do it for You, by Bryan Adams, from the movie Robin Hood.
I can’t embed this video, so follow the link – http://youtu.be/ZGoWtY_h4xo
Technically, this isn’t a song, but I love it & it makes me laugh. All you who are involved in music will LOVE Pachelbel Rant. Enjoy.
A serious answer to this one is May the Mind of Christ My Saviour as it’s a family hymn, but I used this one on Day 7. So, I’ll put a silly one in! How about Always Look on the Bright Side of Life from the movie The Life of Brian…
